Rolling
Magazine, May/June 1990 issue
"Compared
to a stock 1980 Volvo 200-series, the conversion is an unbelievably
fast and quiet vehicle." |

Turbo
& Hi-Tech Performance Magazine, November 1994 issue
"Swedish
stocker to a hybrid screamer with 0-60 times that have gone from 9.3
seconds in original trim, to 7.0 after a stock 5.0 was installed and
down to an estimated 5.2 seconds after the addition of the supercharger." |

MAXSpeed
Magazine, June 1999 issue
"If
you can dream it and pay for it, Converse can build it." |
|
|

Hot Rod
Mechanix Magazine, May 1995 issue
"The
Volv-8 kit is remarkably complete. It's been designed to use
existing holes in the Volvo's frame and bodywork."
|

European
Car Magazine, February 1995 issue
We
spoke to Volvo performance experts Frank Freeman and Pat McKellips at
Group 6 Saab and Volvo Performance and asked what they thought of
this program. "It's a great idea. Ross does a good job with his
kit. The most horsepower we can reliably pull from the B230-series
engine hovers around 250, but we can't come close to the torque of a
big V8."
